I have modified this 1996 Pink Japanese Version Nintendo Gameboy Pocket with an IPS LCD screen. As pictured, the screen will change different colors if lightly tapped on the right upper corner of the device. I have upgraded it this way to do so. The screen can also be changed by holding the same spot from 8-bit to 1080.
As shown, the start and select print has smeared a bit. This happened over wear from playing the game as shown.
