UPDATED LISTING. Now includes 6 free cars. This is an Atlas #2117 Steamer that was made by Rivarossi for Atlas. Box says made in Italy. It is old but in excellent operating condition. It is mostly metal construction as you can tell by the underside photo. Yes your right even the forward and rear trucks on the engine are metal as well as the brass gearing. It runs extremely smooth for having a complex cylinder rod arrangement. Not sure of age but must be around 50 years old. It’s even in its original box. This is quality made operating model. Box lid has one small chip in a corner. Road is Grand Trunk Western. Engine 5629. The cars are typical of the Steam era, cattle cars and wooden box cars with an unmarked caboose.
