This listing is for a beautiful midcentury Mexican pottery vase with two Iguanas in relief. Cobalt blue accents and amazing detail in this studio pottery piece. A rare piece of art.
Wilmot stopped making pottery in 1998. This piece is from the 1960’s.
The vase is signed with his well known “W”(see photos). No cracks or repairs. This piece has been well taken care of. I chose ‘Good’ as the condition because of the bottom.
Ovoid vase measures 8” tall to the nose of the upward looking lizard and 9” from the widest to the top of the side facing one. Experienced glass shipper.
