Higgins and Seiter, the company that made this beautiful American Brilliant Jubilee Hand-Cut Crystal bowl, was in business from 1887-1915, making this dish at least as old as the latter date (or 108 years old). In any case, it is a gorgeous antique hand- cut crystal bowl that has been well-cared for and remains in very fine condition.Because each of these bowls was hand-cut, and different cratmen cut differently, no Jubilee bowl is quite exactly like another. The beauty of this one, together with its anitquity, make it a singular, prize piece for a discriminating collector. The bowl is 6" in diameter across the top, has a depth of about 1" weighs 1lb .5 oz, and measures 4" across is bottom. Sawtooth edge, startburst bottom, and hobstars cut into its intricate design pattern. Perfect for scooping up a handful of nuts, or those exotic wrapped chocolates that you prefer.
