This listing is for a vintage sailboat lamp. Made of brass with a wooden base, this lamp looks like it may have been handmade. A brass rod runs from the wooden base to the light bulb around which the sailboat is built. There are four sails total, all made from cut brass. Gold wrapped wire holds the sails to the center pole. The bottom of the boat is an oblong piece of brass with a long rod in the front to which the sails are tied. As for condition, the lamp is in working condition and comes without a shade. The piece is in good condition overall although some of the gold wrapping on the wire has come undone. Some of the wires that leas to the sails are also a bit wavy. The brass is in good shape with the only flaw being some dark spots on the back of the sails (see photos). This wonderful lamp is full of vintage charm and would be perfect for a nautical room, lake house or beach house! 14 1/4 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. Base is 3 inches wide by 7 inches wide.
