Graded Gem 10 by WCG. This was actually one of the few original Ken Griffey, Jr. rookie cards released in the year 1989. Most of the others did not actually hit the regular season print until 1990. The Donruss Rookies set came out later in the year much like the Traded sets. I don''t know what the problem is with a graded card that wasn''t slabbed by PSA or Beckett but I feel like collectors are unknowingly painting themselves and other collector''s into a corner. I get the authentication in this day and age plus clarification on rare varieties or autos. But this card is graded GM-10 by a respectable outfit. They have a data base too. I didn''t have to wait 2 months to get it back. No membership dues. No hidden charges after realizing the card''s estimated value was under because the card was perfect. No minimum card quantity. If it''s not a fancy enough grading service crack the slab!
