The vintage "Marmalade" Agate Snuff Bottle is a translucent agate infused with striations of varying colors ranging from dark orange, brown, to dark brown. On account of the striations, it has the name "marmalade." The bottle has a compressed globular body tapering to a raised oval foot. Its lip is flat and it has a contrasting bright carnelian cap on a black disk. The various colors are very subtle and do excuse the shadows cast by the lights in the lightbox. It has a high gloss finish and feels good in the hand,
