Originally released in 1992, Tinker Hatfield engineered the Nike Air Raid. Two criss-crossing braces, a heavy-duty lateral bumper, a flat sole and the term "For Outdoor Use Only" found on the back heel and bottom of the outsole are designed for outdoor basketball. This "Raygun" colorway pays tribute to the fictional ABA team, the Roswell Rayguns.
